Artist Studio Spaces for Rent

Since 2010 the Montreal Art Centre and Museum have been the home to local visual artists through its artist studio rental programs. Located in the heart of Griffintown, the centre has 3 Art Galleries featuring the artworks of its member artists. The centre also includes historic museum rooms, plus 3 additional public galleries containing the centre’s permanent art collection of 19th-century paintings, and works on paper of world-famous artists!     

Our Event Rentals

The Montreal Art Centre and Museum is your best choice for an event rental. Our historic building in Griffintown encompasses over 21,000 square feet that include six art galleries and Museum rooms providing a truly unique and colourful ambiance for your event. 

The Montreal Art Centre is pleased to offer several options for event rentals. We can accommodate up to 150 guests for any type of corporate or private celebration, such as cocktail-style receptions, with or without food, graduations, birthday parties, anniversaries, product and book launches, etc. For sit down dinners our capacity is 60 people 

Museum Tours

Discover Montreal's most hidden gem! The Montreal Art Centre and Museum invites you to take a journey through time. Your visit will include a spectacular audio guided tour of our historic 19th Century patromonial building in Griffintown.  

There are 3 exquisite art galleries with a multitude of historic paintings in our Permenant Collection on display. In addition there are fabulous works on sale from our over 40 local member artists.

Our Museum includes a Renaissance Italian and French Baroque Gallery and travel back in time to the 17th century visiting our Nouvelle France Gallery, featuring wax figure statues of Historic Quebec figures from the Grevin Museum.
