À propos

Vernissage: April 12, 5 pm- 7:30pm

Bernie Kelly Goulem is a Montreal-based artist who graduated with distinction in Art History and Studio Art from Concordia University in 1993. She also studied painting at John Abbott College and, prior to that, trained in the private studios of Eric Goldberg in Montreal and Henri Masson in Ottawa.

Her work is inspired by blind drawings and sketches of the human body in motion. By intentionally disregarding some aspects of visual accuracy, she captures the essence and energy of movement, celebrating the human experience beyond mere representation.

In her most recent works, she explores textured surfaces to create a timeless and otherworldly space in which the body moves, evoking a sense of fluidity and transcendence.
