About the Artist
Meet Maxwell Johnstone, a Montreal-based contemporary abstract artist with a lifelong passion for colour and art. After studying the arts in Montreal and abroad, Maxwell developed his distinctive 3-dimensional textured style. Now, his works show just a glimpse into his creative mind, designed to spark discussions and debates.
"My works are a reflection of today’s societal issues on an emotional level. Interpreted through my frame of reference, my work aims to explore and express the social commonalities of the emotional response. Appealing to the viewer on a primal level, by drawing on raw emotions that connect us all".
