À propos
MER$ is an up-and-coming Haitian-Miamian contemporary artist. Since a young age, drawing has brought MER$ a sense of joy, freedom, and creativity. Now, as a devoted father raising two young boys, he ponders how to introduce them to the complexities of the world. MER$ believes that his art holds the answer, as he vividly portrays his own life experiences through painting and drawing. His artwork encompasses diverse perspectives on life as a Black man, seamlessly blending abstract visuals with vibrant cartoon representations. With acrylic paint on his brush and oil sticks in his hands, he adeptly conveys a sense of vitality and grounding, evoking a deep sense of pride and emphasizing the importance of discovering one's unique voice.
