Screening: Isle of dogs (2018)

L'histoire se déroule à Megasaki, au Japon, dans une société dystopique du futur. Une épidémie de grippe canine s'est déclarée. Le maire Kobayashi, corrompu et haïssant les chiens, a banni tous les chiens. Atari, 12 ans, part seul et traverse la rivière à la recherche de son chien de garde, Spots. Là, avec l'aide d'une meute d'amis bâtards nouvellement trouvés, il entame un voyage épique qui décidera du sort et de l'avenir de toute la préfecture.

Set in Megasaki, Japan, a dystopian society in the future. There has been an outbreak of dog flu. The corrupt dog hating Mayor Kobayashi has banished all dogs. 12-year-old Atari sets off alone and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots. There, with the assistance of a pack of newly-found mongrel friends, he begins an epic journey that will decide the fate and future of the entire Prefecture.
