The Montreal Art Center and Museum Introduces its Private Members Club

​

Over the past several years Griffintown and the Sud-Ouest have experienced unprecedented spectacular residential growth. Our historic patrimonial building has been the home to local artists since 2010. Now after an extensive refurbishment and expansion of our building and its facilities, we now introduce a special non-artist Club Membership program.

 

A Home Away From Home

As a not-for-profit organization, the financial demands on our operations are substantial. Our operations are solely based on self-generated revenue, from our various activities, including, exhibitions, studio and event rentals and performance nights.

We support both visual and performing artists through our many support programs. From affordable studio space rentals, to fully subsidized space rentals for artists. We feature regular concerts in our large Griffintown Gallery and in our lounges and bars.

 

 

Access to Bar Discounts, Lounges and Library

The Montreal Art Centre and Museum have two beautiful bars offering beer, wine and art-inspired cocktails. We have beautiful Lounges & Gallery conference table areas as well as a fabulous Library containing over 2,500 books available to member artists and club members. Special discounts off regular prices on all drinks in our bars are offered exclusively to our Artist and Club Members!

 

A Beautifully Appointed Kitchen

We have a fabulous fully appointed kitchen available for our member's use with free coffee and tea available during opening hours.     

 

Discounts on Art Purchases and Special Events

As a Club Member, you are entitled to special discounts on the purchase of art on display in the building. Also, Club members receive discounts on regular concert and entertainment performances in our building.

 

Two Cinemas 7 days a week

The Montreal Art Center and Museum operate two fabulous movie theatres in our building. On our third floor off our kitchen bar, we have our luxurious 15-seat intimate VIP Cinema offering wonderful movies 7 days a week with both Matinee and evening performances. We also set up every Saturday evening in our Griffintown Gallery a 60 seat Cinema offering important popular feature films 

 

Discounts on Party and Event Rentals

The Montreal Art Centre offers its Art Galleries, Lounges, and public rooms available for private rentals for private parties to the general public, for  Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations, etc. As a Club Member, you can save the entire cost of your monthly membership and more with your members discount on your own private event rental!
